How can we help?

Answers to the questions people actually ask. If yours is not here, email us — a person reads it.

Getting Started

How do I create my first workout?

FitPilot builds the week for you. Answer the setup questions once — goals, schedule, experience and the equipment you can reach — and the Workout tab fills with a balanced week. Open today's session from the Dashboard and tap Start Workout.

How do I connect Apple Health?

Open the Health tab and tap Allow Access, or use the Connect Apple Health card on the Dashboard. iOS shows a permission sheet listing every data type FitPilot asks for; you choose which to allow.

How do I change my workout schedule?

Profile → your training answers. Changing days per week, session length, goals or equipment regenerates the plan from the same answers, so the week always matches what you told it.

How do I edit my profile?

Profile → tap your name, height or weight. Weight can also be recorded from the same screen, and it feeds BMI, your starting weights and the progress chart.

Apple Health

What health data can the app access?

Activity (steps, distance, flights, active and resting energy, exercise and stand time), body measurements (weight, height, BMI, body fat, lean mass, waist), heart and lung metrics (heart rate, resting and walking heart rate, HRV, VO₂ max, respiratory rate, blood oxygen, body temperature), sleep, mindful minutes and hearing exposure. Every one is optional. See Health Data & Permissions for what each is used for.

Why isn’t my health data appearing?

Two reasons look identical from inside an app: permission was not granted, or Health holds nothing for that metric. iOS deliberately never tells an app which read permissions were refused, so FitPilot cannot tell you which it is. Check Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → FitPilot, and confirm the data exists in the Health app itself.

How do I change Apple Health permissions?

Open Apple's Health app → Sharing → Apps → FitPilot, or Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → FitPilot. You can grant or revoke any type at any time; FitPilot reflects the change the next time it reads.

How is my health data handled?

It is read live for the screen you are looking at and is not copied into the app — with one exception: weigh-ins are imported, because BMI, your starting weights and the weight chart are calculated from them. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. See the Privacy Policy.

Does FitPilot write anything back to Health?

Only if you allow it: workouts you finish are saved as workout sessions, and weigh-ins you record in FitPilot are saved as body mass. Sets and reps have no representation in Health, so those stay in FitPilot.

Workouts

How does workout planning work?

A split is chosen from your answers, then each training day is filled with exercises that balance the week across the body, within the session length you asked for. Generation is deterministic: the same answers always produce the same week.

Where can I find previous workouts?

Workout tab → History. Sessions are grouped by month, newest first, with sets, exercises, duration and volume.

How do I view a single workout in detail?

Tap any session in History for its full summary, or press and hold for a quick preview without leaving the list.

How do I change the weight an exercise suggests?

Open the workout, tap the exercise, and set a working weight. FitPilot starts from an estimate based on your bodyweight and experience, and every set you log updates it.

How do I delete a workout?

Press and hold the session in History or on the Dashboard and choose Delete Workout. Deleting today's session makes today's workout available to start again.

Account & Data

Do I need an account?

No. FitPilot has no accounts and no sign-in. Everything is stored on your iPhone.

How do I export my data?

Profile → Export. You get a single file containing your profile, measurements and every session, which you can save or share wherever you like.

How do I delete everything?

Profile → Delete All Data. It removes your profile, plan, sessions and measurements from the device. It cannot be undone, and there is no copy anywhere else.

How do I contact support?
